About Carla Jorski

Hello,

My name is Carla Jorski.  I have been a teacher for 26 years.  I started my teaching career in Ft. Worth, Texas teaching first grade.  After six years in Texas, I decided to come back to Oklahoma to be close to my family.  I taught in Oklahoma City schools for one year, Moore schools for 1 year, and then I met my future husband Andrew Jorski.  Andrew is from Harrah and convinced me to put in my application in Harrah schools.  I was hired to teach first grade in Harrah.  The next year I was moved to third grade where I have taught for the last 18 years.

I have two wonderful children.  Carson is 13 and in seventh grade at Choctaw Middle School.  He is our sports nut.  He plays baseball, football, golf, and basketball.  Allison is 11 and is in the fifth grade at JGI in Choctaw.  She shows horses, plays softball and basketball, and is quite the artist. We have a dog named Tinker Bell, five goats and a LOT of fish in our aquarium!

I love teaching and could not think of a more rewarding profession.  I am truly blessed to be able to teach your child and enjoy the education journey with them.

Can you tell that I am proud of my children?  I have thousands of pictures!  Want to see?  Just kidding!  I am sure you are just as proud of your child so, click on over to the class photo album and check out pictures of your child!
