Mrs. Devine's 3rd Grade!

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself to you.  My name is DeeDee Devine, and I am a 3rd grade teacher at Clara Reynolds Elementary.  This is my 21st year teaching in the Harrah Public School District.  I began my career in 2nd grade, and then found my niche with my "Wondering Wizards of THIRD GRADE".  Third grade is always changing, full of little light bulbs flashing off daily...I love it!

 I grew up in several areas of Texas and Kansas before moving to Enid, Oklahoma, where I graduated in 1993.  Oklahoma State University is where I began my journey towards education, and then graduated from The University of Central Oklahoma in the fall of 1998.  I was lucky to have the opportunity to complete my student teaching in Harrah where I received my first teaching position in 2nd grade.  After college, I moved closer to Harrah with my family.  I've been married to my wonderful husband, Randy, for almost 11 years.  We have a blended family, which I call "THE BRADY BUNCH", including his, hers, and ours. Logan is 21 hoping to finish up his degree at the University of Central Oklahoma.  Jeffrey is a SENIOR at Choctaw High School. He is my #22 on the football field. Madison is beginning her high school journey this year as a freshman at Harrah High School.  Jordan is in 8th at Harrah Middle School, and both girls are part of the Harrah Swim team.  Finally, there's Bryar.  He's "our" addition to our blended family.  It's hard to believe, but he is 7, and he's a busy little boy!!! He is a 1^st grader at Virginia Smith Elementary.  As you can see we are a very busy family, and I can truly understand what that means.

My job as your child's teacher is to prepare them for 4th grade SUCCESS using the guidelines of the STATE OF OKLAHOMA.  We use a variety of materials and styles of teaching to reach these standards and goals to be the SHINING STARS on our State Mandated Testing in April!
